About Kitayamazaki

Access from Miyako
About 1 hour by car from Kyukamura Rikuchu Miyako (via Sanriku Expressway)
Closed days: None
Admission fee: Free
There is also a large parking lot, a rest house where you can eat lunch, and a visitor center.
It is about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the nearest observation deck.
There are no steps from the parking lot to the nearest observation deck, so you can go there with a wheelchair or stroller.

The image is a little dark due to the backlight in the morning...but it's a great view!
After that, I went to the second observation deck.
But the scenery is amazing!

Arrived at the second observation deck!
It is truly impressive and breathtakingly beautiful.
The dynamic coastline stretches for approximately 8km, and
you can admire the scenery forever.

When the summer monsoon wind "Yamase'' covers the sea surface, you can see a fantastic view of the quay floating in the fog.
Must visit again!
Welcome Kyukamura Miyako !
