Morohashi Museum

The weather is going to break more often and the rainy season is about to arrive 🐸.
A spot where you can fully enjoy the rain during your stay is the Morohashi Museum of Art, a 5-minute drive away.
The museum houses a large collection of Salvador Dali's works.
First of all, it is a building reminiscent of the West, a stark contrast to the landscape of Urabandai.
The symmetry of the building, as seen in the photo from the courtyard, is beautifully reflected in the pond in front of the building.
Once inside, there are many sculptures!
Personally, when I think of Dali, I think of a painting of a clock melting, so I appreciated the fact that there are also works like this.
Currently, an exhibition is being held to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Dali's birth.
I was overwhelmed by the pinpoint focus on Dali in this exhibition.
Not only Dali's works, but also those of other leading surrealist painters such as Magritte and Miro, as well as works by Halsman, who took pictures of Dali's mustache!
I think Dali lovers will be satisfied with the contents of this museum.
I spent a leisurely hour or so immersed in Dali's worldview.
Dali's mustache is one of his most distinctive features, isn't it?
